Eisteddfods are a great way for our younger generation to gain experience in performing at a high level, in front of a crowd and in a competition setting. The Lake Macquarie Eisteddfod is one of the Hunter Region’s most loved eisteddfods as it provides an excellent opportunity to compete, whilst also making sure to create a safe and encouraging environment for all its performers.

Performance Dates: 25th September to 30th September 2017
Location: Lake Macquarie Performing Arts Centre, Lake Street, Warners Bay

Adjudicator: TBA
Convenor: Mercia Buck

Some of the main prizes are:

  • Warners Bay Lions Club And Hawkins Family Stage & Screen Prize  – $1500
  • Michael Saunders Aria – $1,000
  • Lauris Elms Award for Art Song – $500
  • Vocal Compass Art Song Prize – $150
  • Lisa Kinna Jazz Prize – $50

and many more.
