Celebration Gala – A Spectacular return to live music at Warners Bay Theatre

We are excited to bring you an afternoon of entertainment featuring a cavalcade of fine musicians opening with a fanfare played by the WARATAH BRASS ENSEMBLE- Hannah Gibbons & Andrew Hocquard – Trombones , Teena Wallace & Renee Beguin – Trumpets.
Hannah Gibbons will play her award winning performance of the Rimsky Korsakov trombone concerto.
Nicolette Black & Amber Lewis present an excerpt from Opera Hunter’s forthcoming production A GENTLEMAN’S GUIDE TO LOVE & MURDER playing 24th June to 1st July at the Warners Bay Theatre.
Graeme Hands, Kathryn Graham & Mary Russ are THE ELEGANT TRIO & will delight with their magic of nostalgia & dreams.
Opera Australia bass MICHAEL SAUNDERS sings Rossini & Sullivan, soprano GALATEA KNEATH sings Mozart, duo pianists PHILIP SKETCHLEY & MERCIA BUCK will play Gershwin.
Young artists are Clarinettist Zachary Donoghue, Pianist Douglas Lam, & future Broadway star Layla Rose Schillert.
Our host for the afternoon is the beloved Philip Sketchley OAM.
